Being green doesn?t have to be expensive, especially if you can win an electric car by simply entering an online competition. For one lucky reader of the Metro newspaper that?s exactly what happened! Readers of the Metro were required to complete an on-line calculator on the free paper?s website which showed how the Mitsubishi i-MiEV could save money based on their annual mileage.

Owners of electric cars can be rest assured that they will not have to visit a petrol pump ever again unless they forget the milk! With rising fuel prices and the inconvenience of having to fill up, I can see electric cars becoming very popular.
